Overview
Tischler und Sohn (U.S.A.) Limited is engaged in the design, development, engineering and manufacturing of custom wood window and door products manufactured in Germany. We offer our product in practically and size and shape, in a variety of different factory finishes. We also offer a thermally broken metal window and door system, in addition to aluminum and bronze clad windows and doors.

The product types we offer are inswing and outswing casements and French doors, single, double, and triple hung windows, lift and rolling doors, folding doors, and retractable products. In addition, we manufacture curtain wall style product in both wood and metal.
Our standard glazing is a one inch insulated Low-E glass which can be combined with other glass types for sound reduction, solar control, and security; the goal is to tailor our glazing types to each individual project’s requirements and criteria.
Available accessories to all the product types listed above are insect screens, in both fixed frame or rollscreens, rollshades for both solar control and blackout criteria, and door screens.

Tischler’s project management team helps the architect and contractor by providing fully detailed shop drawings and technical support.
02. Engineering
Tischler is known for the engineering expertise that is built into the Tischler product to ensure the highest performance available. This includes, but is not limited to, the highest Dade County performance rating and structural integrity of oversized units.
03. Tischler Installations
Performed by factory-trained technicians.
04. Non-Tischler Installations
Should the Tischler installation offer not be chosen Tischler will provide installation instructions to again ensure proper and trouble-free installation.
05. Installations Materials
All product-specific installation materials are provided free of charge.
06. Tischler Product Handover to Client
Prior to the client moving into the residence Tischler provides complimentary final adjustments and inspection.
Certifications
Our standard product exceeds the minimum requirements of AWPG40 to qualify for Architectural AW Rating. In addition, Tischler was the first wood window and door manufacturer to have full Miami Dade County certification for hurricane impact resistance (Miami Dade County TAS 201, 202, 203 — missile impact in high velocity zone). Tischler’s goal is to meet or exceed each project’s performance requirements.

Warranty Policies
Tischler und Sohn provides the highest quality product for our customers. We use only the highest quality materials and the latest manufacturing and quality control techniques to ensure the reliability and long life of our products. The confidence we have in our product is reflected in our warranty policy, and is transferrable from one owner to the next.
Product Warranty
3/7 Year Warranty — Tischler und Sohn warrants its products unconditionally against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of delivery. An additional seven year warranty is available with the purchase of an extended annual maintenance contract, at a additional cost.
Finish Warranty
Tischler warrants its proprietary finishes not to tarnish, peel, pit, flake for two years from the date of delivery.
Glazing/Glass Warranty
10 Years — Tischler und Sohn warrants its standard insulated glass (without alarm spiders) to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and assembly for ten years from the date of delivery. Oversize units (window and door sash larger than 20 square feet, lift rolling door sash larger than 35 square feet,) units with an air space less than 10-mm (3/8”) curved/bent units may have a restriction on the warranty.
